Within the days of Sami culture 12-13 of November in Murmansk ice arena will be organized the International exhibition of Sami culture. The aims of the exhibition are:
• Preservation of the spirit culture of Sami people in Murmansk region;
• Demonstration of the achievements at the processing of traditional nature use production;
• Awareness rising of traditional handicrafts, traditional knowledge and indigenous culture of Murmansk region;
• Support the dealings between artists, indigenous communities and reindeer herders’ enterprises as representatives of small business and commercial companies.
The organizers of the exhibition are the Murmansk Committee of relations with NGO and youth dealing and the Murmansk regional Center for indigenous peoples of the North.
